Blooms A Go-Go

When i think of hot pink, i think of my grandma lil. She was not your ordinary grandma – she had hot pink go-go boots, wore mini skirts, and even bikinis! she was as modern as grandmas come. I was born on her birthday and that meant we had a special connection. She loved bright colors– and loved being the center of attention. this hot pink bouquet is filled to the brim with fun flowers – and ready to go-go.

Hidden Meadows

I grew up in a house next to our family’s greenhouses – that meant I could run through flowers every single day. We also had lots of land – about seven acres – and everywhere you looked, there were flowers. even in winter, I had the luxury of the hidden meadows inside the greenhouses. In the summer, the back lot (not seen from the street) was filled with flowers, too. This bouquet reveals the memories of hidden flower gardens.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”9131″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”9133″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Nightfall

One of my favorite experiences is a greenhouse at night! there’s a special enchantment that happens there. The smell of moss, moonlight on leaves– and the flowers begin to transform into special tones under the moonlight. The feeling you get when night falls in the green house is incomparable. This textured collection evokes mystical memories of a greenhouse, after nightfall.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Sunset Drive

My grandparents – carnation joe and his lily – picked me up after school every day, and that’s when the adventures would begin! We would pick cat tails or make flower deliveries. And the timing was always perfect to catch the sunset from the back seat of their car. Grandpa would park the car on top of a hill, and we would just sit there in wonder, as the colors streaked the sky. The sunset colors in this bouquet were always their favorites.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”9135″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”9129″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Cream With Your Coffee

My grandpa always insisted that the cream be poured into his coffee cup first, and the coffee poured gently there-on. He made this request everywhere he went – and I would watch the coffee swirl together with the cream to make an incredible café au lait color. This bouquet has those same colors. to this day, I love coffee with lots of cream – and I like my flowers the same way, creamy and dreamy.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Starry Eyed

I’ve always loved flowers, and we grew lots of flowers! That included chrysanthemums. and the magnum white mums in this bouquet remind me of disbudding chrysanthemums as a child. My grandpa taught me how to disbud early and I would stand high atop a ladder, removing buds and looking over the benches of mums – starry eyed – dreaming of a life completely surrounded by flowers. Never forget… dreams do come true![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”9136″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”9137″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Pinky Swear

My first dog was a poodle named “blossom.” she was my best friend.my mother would gently dye her fur with food coloring for holidays. My mother preferred red food coloring – rendering blossom the prettiest shade of pink. I loved walking my pink dog through the greenhouses and visiting the flower shop – blossom loved the attention too! This bouquet is dedicated to “le petit chien” – my dog blossom – that mother would “magically turn pink”- twice a year- pinkie swear.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Brightside

I love a mixed bouquet. this style is true American floristry, including different flower types in a myriad of colors. in Britain, such a grouping is kindly referred to as the “American clown bouquet.” My nanny, who raised me in the art of storytelling, was also professional clown! Dorothy was my “other mom” and had the unique ability to always look on the bright side of any situation. This bouquet is filled with color and heaps of positivity. As Dorothy as said – “when in doubt, look on the bright side![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”9128″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”9132″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Happy Hour

My grandpa was called “carnation joe green” because he always wore a red carnation. he felt he was a florist 24 hours a day – because he also slept with his lily at night! my grandpa could always be found sipping his favorite libation (a perfect Manhattan) at happy hour. thanks to flowers, I like to think we can enjoy happy hour anytime– and for goodness sake – don’t forget the red carnations![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Daybreak

My dad exuded positivity. He rose early every morning, thankful for another day – and even more thankful that he worked with flowers. His favorite color was yellow, and he loved his breakfast eggs sunny side up. this bouquet illuminates a room and makes you feel better – immediately! Just like the sun coming up in the morning, there’s something about daybreak that makes everything better.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”9128″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”9134″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Violet Eyes

My grandpa grew violets in the greenhouse – not to sell, but to give away. He would pick bunches and pass them out on the corner – just to make someone’s day! That’s the kind of guy he was. He loved sharing flowers and their benefits. only one vendor used to sell violets at the flower market in san Francisco. I would always make sure to visit and buy a bunch. Somehow, when i lay my eyes on violets, life naturally gets better! (did I mention my dinner with Elizabeth Taylor? I’ll have to tell you another time – maybe.)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Weekender

My grandparents always kept a bag packed in the trunk of their car. This was due to their penchant to occasionally – and often randomly – drive off into the sunset to – somewhere else. They loved to escape, whether up to the mountains, down to the beach – or a weekend getaway. Free spirits, we called them. flowers (like a secret suitcase or favorite treat) can help us all escape – a small retreat to rejuvenate – even in the middle of the week![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”9138″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”44px”][vc_column_text]
