The Holiday Trend We’re Loving

Dec 2021 | Style Guide | 0 comments

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and this holiday season we’re celebrating with a trend that’s daringly bold yet charming enough to capture the hearts of stylists and Christmas décor enthusiasts across the web: dried citrus!

While we love a traditional, pared down neutral palette reminiscent of a dreamy winter wonderland, we couldn’t resist tapping into the non-traditional orange and spice-inspired decor tendencies that have been influencing this year’s top holiday trends. We translated the color story into a floral collection that captures the heart of the trend using an assortment of fresh cut flowers ideal for holiday decorating.

Star of Bethlehem and gerberas are both available in vibrant tones of orange, without a doubt making them the leading ladies of this collection. Paired with white lilies, lege marron carnations, Queen Anne’s lace and red hypericum, the varieties fuse together to create an unconventional yet strikingly beautiful winter collection. Touches of dusty miller, glitter pine and metallic gold accents add an extra special seasonal touch that completes this holiday design.

This composition makes a statement all on its own in any room of the house—whether the entryway or main living room. To use as a centerpiece for holiday entertaining, we suggest incorporating extra pine, wood, gold bud vases with extra hypericum, and of course, dried orange slices! Whether they are DYI or purchased, little details such as these will truly enhance the overall look of the trend. Finally, place a few candles on the table for ambiance and you’ll be all set for an unforgettable holiday dinner.
